Honky Tonk Tour of Nashville
The month of June will be a busy one for me. After completing two different productions of the Broadway musical for which i act as music supervisor and director (Million Dollar Quartet), it will be time to return to my regular hillbilly rock n roll persona. On June 21st, Plowboy Records will release my 4th solo record “Close To Home.” To promote this new work, I will engage upon what I consider a nice publicity stunt. “The Honky Tonk Tour of Nashville” will be my band and me playing five honky tonks in five nights all here in Nashville! Starting Tuesday June 18 at the American Legion Post 82 and ending with an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry and my old stamping grounds Robert’s Western World on June 22nd. Then, just to cap it all off, an in-store performance at Grimey’s Record Store on Sunday the 23rd.
I’ll be napping on Monday the 24th.
