Howdy Everyone!
Well it's been quite a three months now hasn't it? I can only hope that you and yours are holding up and staying safe. I can say we have been enjoying doing our Lil' SOB Jamborees every other Saturday. It's done our souls good. I just hope everyone gets off on them as much as we do. It's been a chance to stretch out and do songs we haven't played in a while and some we've never done. We promise to keep improving everything about our little broadcasts. And a big "Thanks" to everyone who watched and tipped us out! This past week, we tried to improve by switching to YouTube for the broadcast and I must say the sound and picture really improved. We did miss a few viewers we had on Facebook though so for our next Lil' SOB Jamboree on June 13th, we will try to simulcast on YouTube and Facebook so we can catch everyone!
As I said this past Saturday, we have a cool design for a Lil' SOB Jamboree T-shirt and bandana. It took me a couple of days to get it up on my website (chuckmead.com) but it will be up today for pre-ordering. If we get enough interest, we'll make them!
I'd also like to mention that my radio program "Face The Music" which airs the second Friday of each month on 650AM WSM Radio, is still happening. In April and May we re-ran the shows due to Covid 19 issues. I'm happy to say that through modern technology we will be able to bring you a new show this month so be sure to tune in June 12th at 6pm CST on 650AM WSM Radio and Route 650 for a great talk with a top-rated personality, cool records, and of course "Creepy or Sexy!"
Hopefully, people will remain vigilant with social distancing and wearing their cool new masks so we can get back out on the road and up on the stages in person. Remember - it takes all of us to get over this!
