Two Shows with the Mavericks!
Hey Friends & Neighbors
Just a word to remind y’all that I’ll be playing on the Opry Country Classics show this Thursday so tune in to the “Air Castle of the South” 650WSM or log on to wsmonline.com.
Then Friday and Saturday, my good buddies, The Mavericks, are playing a couple of warm up shows here in Nashville at 3rd & Lindsley and I’ll be starting the show. It’ll be just like the old days! I’m sure, just like the old days, things will get broken. If you’re around come on down and help break things! All proceeds go to charity.

Then, Monday the 23rd, I’ll be appearing on the Tennessee Shines radio show on WVDX in Knoxville, TN. Click on the links below for more info and to listen in.

I have been a fan of Chuck Mead for more years than I care to recall right this minute! I met him on lower Broadway at Robert’s in 1992-3, back in the scary, deserted days on Broadway when downtown Nashville was not the mega-bustling Music City we see today. He would let me get up and sing with the band, was always a gentleman, too! More than that, Chuck Mead was a pioneer then and all of us who were around at that time knew it. I was very excited to see him again, after many years, at the 3rd & Lindsley show. He remembered me, and THAT made my night! I am looking forward to the next time I can attend anything in which Chuck Mead is involved! A Fan Forever, Penny
