I would love to hear what shows people have seen lately.

Two weeks ago I saw the Dave Alvin Trio, He was incredible! Great guitar player. It would be fun to see a tour with Chuck and Dave.

The next night I saw Ted Leo and The Pharmacists. The band came out with an hour and twenty minutes of 3 minutes songs one after the other it was awesome. Lots of energy.

Besides lots of local Knoxville bands (Mic Harrison & the High Score, Kevin Abernathy Band, The Drunk Uncles plus Scott Miller & the Commonwealth tomorrow night) I've seen Chris Knight, David Allan Coe & Unknown Hinson this year. Coe being the only one hadn't seen before. Enjoyed his set but honestly enjoyed the opener better.

I also plan to see Gary Bennett, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, Jason & the Scorchers, Hayes Carll, Goose Creek Symphony, Todd Snider, James McMurtry, Trent Summar & the New Row Mob, Blackberry Smoke, Billy Joe Shaver, Leon Russell & Cross Canadian Ragweed out at The Shed here in Maryville this year. AND am still waiting for some regional Black Crowes dates. I hope Chuck comes back to east Tennessee too.

3 nights of Faith No More @ The Warfield in San Francisco

Chuck is playing in CA next weekend but tickets are like $100 :(

Wish he was at least playing a club in addition to the festival

Saw the Thermals a month ago. They were great , I would see them again. Check them out if they come to a town near you. The Thermals are an indie/alternative/post-pop-punk rock band from Portland, Oregon, USA.
