It should be a rockin’ time so if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by. That is also the last day for me to reach my money goal on my Kickstarter campaign. as it stands now, I’m almost half way but time’s a wastin’ so please make a pledge now. It makes a excellent Holiday gift and tastes much better than a fruit cake!

Hey Friends and Neighbors
There is a lot going on this month. The first thing is that Thanksgiving weekend, November 25th and 26th, I will be appearing at the Crystal Palace in Bakersfield California. The difference in this gig is that my Grassy Knoll Boys won’t be with me but I will be fronting Buck Owens’ Buckaroos. It’s really a great honor and a helluva lot of fun. We’ll be doing classic country, a lot of Buck Owens and other Bakersfield music and a few old BR songs to boot. So if you’re in the area, come on by and do a little honky tonkin’!
The other huge thing is that on November 8th I’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign. Kickstarter is a arts fundraising website that allows artists to raise money to complete their projects through contributions from fans, family and whoever looks at their Kickstarter page and digs what they’re trying to accomplish. My new record of classic country songs “Back At The Quonset Hut” is due out in February. I recorded it last November at the old Bradley Studio (nicknamed the Quonset Hut) The Hut was the first studio on Music Row here in Nashville. It’s been closed for years but has recently re-opened as a learning studio for Belmont University students. I recorded it with the Grassy Knoll Boys plus members of the Nashville A Team a group of studio musicians that recorded most all of the country hits of the 1950s and 60s. There are even guest stars on this one. I filmed the whole weekend of sessions and now I need money to complete it so that I may include it in the package in February.
Go to this link to learn all about it.

I hope you all can see it in your heart to make a little contribution. I only have 30 days to make my goal of $10,000 so tell everyone who may be interested in the concept to hit my Kickstarter site.
Thanks All!

Hey Y’all!
Just back from merry ole London where we’ve successfully launched the West End version of “Million Dollar Quartet” the musical of which I act as music arranger/supervisor. I have to say those boys & girls over there are fantastic and a welcome addition to the MDQ family. I suggest that if you’re in Chicago, New York or London that you do yourself a favor and go see our little rockabilly skit. I promise you’ll have fun and you’ll have gotten your money’s worth.
I’ll be doing some shows in April and May with my Grassy Knoll Boys so be sure to check out the showdates on this here site or get on my Facebook or MySpace music page. I’ll be in Kansas, Colorado and Texas. There will be more additions to this jaunt so keep checking in!
I will have a new record coming out this year called “Back At The Quonset Hut”. I recorded it last November at the legendary studio on Music Row. I figured it was about time to do an all country/rockabilly classics album and what better place to record something like that than in the studio in which most of the songs were originally recorded. To add more hillbilly cred to the situation, I recruited some of the guys who played on these songs in the first place. Yes, four members of the Nashville “A” Team, Buddy Spicher, Bob Moore, Pig Robbins and Harold Bradley all played on my record. I also asked a lot of notable friends to to do some duets with me just to make it extra good. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it! I will keep all who are interested informed as things progress.
That’s all for now kids. We’ll see ya’.
