    Hey Friends & Neighbors

There are a few things to let you all in on this month.

First, I’ll be guest-hosting for Jim Lauderdale on the Music City Roots Show this Wednesday May 30th. The guests on this week’s show are Alejandro Escovedo, Scott Simontacchi, Tristen, Trace Bundy and Josh Oliver

Coming up on June 2, I’ll be appearing along with my Grassy Knoll Boys at “The Musician’s Corner”  a weekly event all summer long at the band shell in Centennial Park here in Nashville. They are kid-friendly shows with many different artists. Should be fun start of the summer.

Then the next weekend I believe we’re the only act that is playing both the CMA Musicfest and Bonnaroo! A weekend of Hillbillies and Hippies! I love ‘em all!

On June 8th at 4:30pm we’ll be playing at LP Field in Nashville at the inaugural BMI Tailgate Party at the CMA Music Festival.

Then on June 9th we’ll travel to Manchester, TN to play the famed Bonnaroo Music Festival where we’ll appear on the Troo Music Lounge Stage  at 6:40pm

In August, we’ll be cruisin’. That’s right, CM & His Grassy Knoll Boys are playing on the 2012 A Prairie Home Companion Cruise! The trip starts on August 19th in Amsterdam and 10 days with stops in Vigo Spain, Lisbon Portugal, Cadiz Spain, Tangier Morocco (that’s right, Africa), Malaga Spain and ending in Barcelona. It would be nice to see some of you on that ship…should be the trip of a lifetime!

I’m sure there will be more to come this summer concerning CM & His GKB so please check in with us on Facebook, Twitter and www.chuckmead.com/

    Peace, Love and Ernest Tubb
